1 cup dried TVP granules
1 1/4 cups boiling water
1/2 cup chickpea flour
1/4 cup all purpose flour
4 tbsp paprika
3 tbsp sage
pinch thyme
1 tbsp soy sauce
1/4 cup nutritional yeast (NOT brewer's yeast)
1 tbsp dill
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp pepper
2 tbsp garlic powder
Chopped fresh parsley and scallions
Ginger might be good, but I didn't add any this time.
Put your TVP in the water and mix everything else together. When your TVP rehydrates, stir everything else in, spoonful by spoonful. Take spoonfuls, scrape them off your spoon, and fry.
